A paragraph from a 1986 Arcticle I came across: "Where have all the buyer' gone?
.. ".Well they are still here but significant number are sitting on their wallets waiting to see what happens to interest rates and prices. One group has the cash to buy but prefers to earn 13.5% on T-Bills while they wait for house prices to bottom out. The other group does not have the cash, needs the house but can't afford today's high mortgage rates unless house prices fall substantially. "
The average house price in 1986 was approximately $100,000 and the interest rates were about 11%. I guess they didn't bottom out.

Not all Power of Attorneys are valid.
